What Causes Tenderness And Pain In Stomach When Diagnosed With Colitis?
I feel tenderness in my stomach just to the tight of my navel. It seems like there is a tissue mass in the same area. I have no significant pain, just tenderness. I feel that my stomach is bloated as well. My doctor has examined it twice over the last two years but was not concerned. I had one very painful stomach spasm last year. I have been diagnosed with colitis about six years ago after having a colonoscopy. I feel the swelling and tenderness is getting worse. James
Hello, You may need another colonoscopy to figure out the cause of your discomfort. There are many types of colitis and some of them get worse with time. See your doctor again and see what he or she thinks about repeating a colonoscopy. Regards
