What Causes Tenderness And Pain In The Left Side Of The Abdomen?
Tenderness and pain on the left side of the abdomen, 6 to 10 inches left of my belly button. No fever, nausea, constipation. Woke up with the pain/tenderness Monday morning. Should I check in with my internist, ER, Urgent Care, Gasterenterologist?? YYYY@YYYY
You have not mentioned your age and sex. The only complain is left side pain... What is nature of pain ?? Dull aching ?? Constricting ??? Throbbing ???
Here it could be simple colitis pain by inflammation of colon.... The other possibility as site you have mentioned if you are female ovarian cyst can lead discomfort. If pain constricting then it might stone in urinary tract.... USG abdomen useful for it....
Take heathy and balanced diet. Avoid excess fatty and junk and non veg food. Fruits more.
As far as doctor concerned first you can consult physician for it with USG report.
Take care.
