What Causes Tenderness And Pain On Leg And Thigh While Having Staph?

Hi- I currently have a very large boil on my hamstring, and tested positive for staph. It is getting very painful, red, and purple in the center, meanwhile I m experiencing considerable tenderness and pain on the same leg, but now moving into the upper/inner thigh approaching the groin region. Is this normal, or should I get medical attention ? Thank u

Hello,

Staph infection can cause you these symptoms but you should consult with your primary physician and get and CBC and CRP done for status.
