What Causes Tenderness And Swelling In The Cheek?

It is a long story but I kneed myself in the cheekbone. I don't think it is broken or anything because it really doesn't hurt that bad. It is just swollen really bad and tender right where my knee hit. The last couple of days though the hearing in my ear on the side I was hit on is extremely muffled. I have no insurance and can not afford to go to a dr at the moment. Is this something I should be overly concerned with?
