What Causes Tenderness And Swelling On The Bridge Of The Nose?

I noticed that the bridge of my nose and right side of my nose had become very tender a couple of days ago. I do not see any bumps or pimples on the inside or outside of my nose, but it is a little swollen and red. Mostly just tender. I can barely stand to wear my reading glasses it is so tender. I have recently been in a facility that has a lot of MRSA patients, so that is a concern I have.

Hi

This sounds like cellulitis--most likely a strep infection of the skin of the nose and not MRSA. But you should have a doctor look at it since you'll probably need a course of antibiotics for it
