What Causes Tenderness Below The Left Ear?
This morning in the shower I noticed below my left ear and down my neck was a little sore or tender. Early afternoon I noticed my forehead near the hair line was sore to the touch and my right jaw to behind my right ear and down my neck are also sore. I assume these are lymph nodes. The lymph nodes in my armpits and groin are not sore. Now the area on my forehead is hot, swollen, red and itchy, and the discomfort seems to be spreading down toward my eyes. My eyes seem irritated a little. I had a headache this afternoon, but took about an hour nap before dinner, ate dinner and don t have a headache now. What s up with this?

Your symptoms seem to be related to an ear infection. Some advice that I can give to you is:
-use anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen
-use ear drops for local relief
-take prescribed antibiotics if needed.
