What Causes Tenderness In Groin And Hip?

Hello, I am a 39 year old female & have suffered with a tendor left groin & what feels like a tendor aching left hip for the last 12 months. Previous to this I had similar symptoms which resulted in having a couple of lymph nodes removed from my left groin a couple of years ago which the surgeon said were badly infected when he removed them. My GP diagnosed me with Bursitis, but I am not convinced due to the constant aching in my groin? Blood tests came back normal? What do you think?
