Hi.

Symptoms described in your query are suggestive of pleurisy.

Pleurisy is a type of chest pain caused by the inflammation of the sheet-like layers that cover the lungs (the pleura). It usually results from a viral infection (such as the flu) or a bacterial infection (such as pneumonia).

The pain may be worse when you cough, sneeze or move around, and it may be relieved by taking shallow breaths.

I advise you to see your doctor for proper clinical assessment and to carry out certain lab tests such as CBC, chest x-rays and ESR to determine whether it is due to infection or not and followed by its appropriate treatment.

Hope I have answered your query.
