What Causes Tenderness In The Stomach After Eating Food?
For the last week, I have been having a tenderness in my stomach. Sometimes it will start just after eating or sometimes it just starts to hurt. I have been having to go to the bathroom just shortly after eating and there is a constant ache. It seems to be in the middle of my stomach and sometimes to the left.
You can have two possible disease include either peptic ulcer or acute gastritis. The treatment for both is same. You can take Pantoprazole like antacid tablet for one week.
Don't take excess spicy foods and don't take excess tea, coffee because they are gastric irritants. Cooked oatmeal help in soothing stomach. So it can be taken. If no improvement than rule out h. Pylori infection by urea breath test.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
