What Causes Tenderness On Roof Of Mouth?

HiI am 51yo and recently have had a funny constricted feeling in my throat and tender roof of mouth and feeling very nauseous I was given antibiotics in case of virus which made no difference and was tested for thyroid problems which showed as normal

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the tenderness in the roof of the mouth could be because of a tooth infection causing abscess in the palate or it can be a mucocele or benign tumor of minor salivary gland.. consult a oral physician and take radiographs like maxillary occlusal radiograph to rule out any pathology... i hope my answer will help you..take care..
