What Causes Tenderness, Redness And Swelling In The Ear?
my right ear is slightly inflamed and tender to the touch it is red and there is some noticeable swelling. the affected area is the helix of my right ear and i'm just wondering what it might be i have checked it over for acne and cuts but it is clear.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have tenderness, redness and swelling in ear which seems to be due to infection of ear inner and accumulation of fluid ij ear canal. I would suggest you to avoid touching and pricking ear with any sharp object. You should take nasal sprays and do warm saline gargles. You should take antibiotic Levofloxacin in combination with antiallergic medication. Put Otogesic ear drops in ear. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get paranasal sinus x-ray and otoscopic examination done and start treatment after proper prescription. You should go for audimetry testing as well.
