What Causes Tenderness Under Right Rib Cage?

Hello, I have a tenderness under my right rib cage, from the middle and and a strange feeling from there down to my hip bone...I have put on weight recently and am on antidepressants and sleeping tablets but otherwise well. Do you know what it could be?..Thank you.
