What Causes Terrible Pain In The Testicles ?

Hi I wonder if anyone can help... I noticed whilst washing in the shower about 5 days ago, a sharp shouting pain in the tubes leading to my right testicle. Both testicles feel fine when I gently feel and squeeze them but just knocking the tubes near to them does hurt a lot. I notice it more further along the tube just before where the pelvic bone meets the groin area... Any idea what this is? An infection perhaps?

Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for query ,
Pain in both he testicles is mostly due to infection of Epididymis (Epididymitis)

Consult qualified General surgeon or urologist and get following basic test done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Routine urine test and urine culture
2) Ultrasound Scanning of Scrotum

In the mean while take antibiotics like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug kike Diclofenac twice daily later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Ensure to drink more water.
