What Causes Testicles And Penis Itching In The Night?

I am 50 years old man; I am frequently having problems of itching the testicles during night while sleep; sometime penis too. I usually shave my hairs every alternate two weeks. I used to wear clean(dettol wash) underwears. Only in the sleep time I used to have this itching testicles and its surroundings. I use medicated powder (mycoderm) everyday. Please advise of why this happening to me always. I have time to time allergic rhinitis problems and I take course medicines too.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Th causes of night-time itching in the scrotum and penis are:
- Scabies.
- Seborrhoic dermatitis.
- Allergic dermatitis.
I would advise you the following:
- Stop shaving.
Stop using any power.
Clean the area with plain water 2 to 4 times a day.
No local soaps.
Once the picture is clear, consult a Dermatologist to get a perfect diagnosis and perfect treatment to get a cure.
Do nothing at home as you can not diagnosed at home, needs an opinion of a Specialist.
