What Causes Testicular Pain And Swelling With Erectile Dysfunction?
Hello. For the last month, I have been experiencing testicular pain, testicular swelling along with the inability to maintain an erection (noticeable in the morning.) I am NOT sexually active, and when I was, it was with a single monogomous female partner, so I am not concerned that it could be an STD. However, what else could it be, and should I seek immediate treatment, or allow it to possibly go away on its own?
Swelling and pain the testes may indicate infection what we call orchitis or epididymitis. This does not need to be sexually transmitted as it can occur with out any sexual contact.
It is important that you see your doctor as if needed he would prescribe you antibiotics for it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
General & Family Physician
