What Causes Testing Positive For Methadone While On Neurontin And Vistaril?
Hello. I take a lot of psych meds and I tested positive for meth. I am going to give u a list of the medications and if you could tell me if one or a combination of those could test positive:celexa,inderal,buspar,neurontin,vistaril,lamictal, and Effexor. Please help

There are some medications that can cause false positive drug reactions.
The medications most commonly noted to cause this reaction are promethazine, chlorpromazine, bupropion, trazadone, ritalin, propanolol.
This means that it is possible that your propanolol (inderal) may have contributed to your result
There are more accurate tests that can be done to check for meth after an initial false positive result eg GC_MS testing
You should speak to your doctor about this option
