What Causes The Appearance Of Dense Breasts In Mammogram?
Hi I m 42yrs ,on USC. My report follows Mammogram shows bilateral dense breasts which on ultra sound screening appears as thick Mammary layer with heterogeneous echo texture in all quadrants I Of both breasts - suggestive Of bilateral diffuse fibroadenosis, On ultrasound a well defined oval hypoechol lesion notebook in left breast ,suggestive Of fibroadenosis - birads grade 3 lesion Bilateral axillae. Normal Pls let me know my situation , I m given evion - LCD for 6 months
There appears to be a benign growth in your breasts (very commonly seen nowadays in women) which is harmless (even my wife had and still has some). They grow to a certain size and thens top growing, are in no way related to cancer and usually are also very mobile. Most women who decide not to operate them (As they are asymptomatic) have also reported a regression around and after menopause. As you are 42 years, fibroadenosis shall not be a problem for you either.
I would either way recommend a needle-core biopsy if required, but nothing other than this. Hope this helps.
