What Causes The Appearance Of White Spots In The Brain?

Hi,I am 42 yr old fem,had arm go limp in bed also travelled to my leg and face tingled near mouth and also tongue felt strange,also my neck has been creaky for few years and getting worse ,tender near shoulder blades and left arm had felt strange couple of years ago too,I was sent for MRI which showed several disc problems and trapped nerve ending and white spots on brain.Neurologist tested me and said scan suggests MS but no symptoms,said need blood tests, maybe lb,which I would prefer not to have as I had heard horror stories.I am hoping its not ms,I also have sleep apnoea,tinnitus and was in car accident 16yrs ago where I was was hit from side but no injuries.Possibly not MS?
