What Causes The Discomfort Feeling In The Vagina?

Greetings to you!!
I am Nidhi Khurana from Chandigarh.I'd been married in 2008, me and my husband were together for 1month, then he resumed his job in the UK,during that 1month we didn't have anything like 'intercourse' he used to do a bit of the finger insertion(in place of the real insertion) but we never landed up doing the act actually. The things i wanted to discuss with u are :
1) Even though we did not 'do it' particularly..i felt a faint heaviness and a faint pain after this finger insertion etc.at the seat of the vagina,deep in; resembling the slight discomfort before the start of the menses..not exactly painful but,one can make out that a faint heaviness is felt. what could be the reason for such a sensation? something serious or just my anxiousness and apprehensiveness.
