What Causes The Dried Pimples To Pop Up Againn After Using Betanovate Cream?

hi doctor i have pimples on my face i use batnovate cream .my face is oil skin after apply cream i wash water only my pimples they became dry like they getting off after 2 day they came up again i dont know what is wrong please need help. thank you

Hello dear,
Welcome to HCM.
I have read your query and understood your concern.

Betnovate is a steroidal cream which is not meant for pimples. i will advice you to stop applying it. Rather, you may use clindamycin gel in the morning and benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel in night time over the lesions only.

In case of moderate to severe acne, oral antibiotics are advisable like azithromycin/doxycycline/minocycline.

Avoid hair oil application and oily food in diet.
dont squeeze or pop up the pimples.

stay healthy.
