What Causes The External Hemorrhoid Surface To Be Rough?

Do external hemorrhoids get scabs? I ve had an external hemorrhoid since last Saturday, no pain, and the size of an almond. It s only spotted a little bit of blood. It feels somewhat soft but also like it has a scab or getting rough on the outside. Is that normal?

Hi,
Having this local skin problem due to external hemorrhoids is common due to itching and irritation.
Another possibility of having fistula in ano should be ruled out.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
Avoid constipation and take plenty of water.
Keep local hygiene clean and dry.
Ok and take care.
