What Causes The Eye Twitching And Shoulder Movements?

Hi, my friend has eye twitching and combined with left shoulder movement upwards? it increases while driving and when fatigued. After sufficient rest it reduces but does not go away. He has been working in diamond sorting for long and now retired, and has High BP tablet daily - amdepin 5 and 1 aspirin 81 mg. He had been a smoker for last 20 years about 10 cigarettes a day, however last 2.5 years he smoke 2 filter cigarettes a day. What could be the reason for the same, and what is the remedy.
