What Causes The Eyes Roll Back In An Infant?

My 18 month old granddaughter has, on occasion, episodes of her eyes rolling back, becoming listless and not able to lift her head. She usually falls asleep right after that. She is an identical twin. Both girls are developmentally delayed. They have seen a neurologist and are suppose to have mri s for developmental delay. Any ideas what the eyes rolling back may mean. 911 was called but arrived when event was over..her vitals were all normal and so was blood sugar. Any advice would be appreciated.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms could be due to epileptic seizure but it needs to be confirmed and for that MRI and EEG is necessary hope this information helps.
