What Causes The Feeling Of Extreme Cold, Shivering And Fever?

I started feeling ill at 9 o clock last night. This developed into extremities feeling cold, shivering and a temperature of 102. This morning I woke up having sweated and with a normal temperature. What was it and can I live life as normal like going to the gym?

My Opinion based on your details is that it seems that the Fever comes on & off without any associated symptoms.
Yes. You can be as normal as you would provided the Fever is not severe enough or it interfere with your routine activity.
Have Plenty of Oral fluids preferably boiled water and some hot soups.
It is always advisable to visit your nearby doctor / Family Physician for further guidance at the earliest before it gets severe.
