What Causes The Feeling Of Food Struck In The Abdomen?

I ate a piece of port chops this morning for breakfast. when i swallowed it it seemed to get stuck just above my stomach area. there is a little pain in that area. I can breath normally, but every time i drink water it comes right back up as does all my drainage.

It sounds as if you didn't chew your food adequately hence why you may require some time for it to digest properly. You may find comfort from using Gaviscon (Milk of Magnesia) and consuming softer foods for a few days. If this continues for a week, please speak with you family practitioner. You may require an OGD (camera which looks down your oesphagus) to see if the chop needs dislodgement. This would be in extreme cases. I would be hopeful that your stomach will be more at ease in the next few days.
