What Causes The Feeling Of Gas Pockets Around Shoulder Blade?

My wife is feeling gas pockets or something in he back around her shoulder blades and very uncomfortable bloating after her tubal ligation yesterday and this happened after an endimetriosis surgery in January. Are there any OTCs that may help the swelling go down?
