Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I went to the er this weekend because of several lumps or growths I felt inside my throat. They did a ct scan with dye to check it and they said they didn t see anything that may be cancerous and told me to see an ENT for further diagnosis. I m just wondering what else could be causing these lumps.
The CT scan can rule out any cancerous growth if present. Kindly attach your CT report so that I can read it and can give further advice.
Your physical examination is needed to check if any swelling or growth present inside the throat. If all reports and examination normal than no need to worry as per my opinion.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
