What Causes The Feeling Of Mucus In The Throat?

Hi Doctor,

I have always a feeling of having mucus in my throat, that causes me to inhale that mucus. I have been suffering from this problem since long. Sometimes it cures itself, and after it starts again.
Another problem is that when I do not have complete sleep, and when I wake up, I feel to cough a lot. Please help me.

Hi, thank you for your query on health care magic.

Looking at your symptoms,the cause of cough might be allergic.

It would be advisable to have Chest Xray and sputum testing.
If you are suffering from Acid reflux,that can also aggravate your Cough.

You may find relief by taking the following medications:
Antiallergic like Levocetrizine with Motelukast,
Antacid like Rantac ,if you are suffering from Acid reflux.
