What Causes The Feeling Of Something Struck In Throat?

I live in Africa and had roundworms, which I saw a 14 inch one! Now I have a feeling something is stuck in my throat, sometimes pressure in my adams apple area, and the feeling moves to both sides of throat at times, and in the midde of throat at other times. Is it possible after taking 10 doses of 400mg worm med, forgot the name, albu or short that an adult worm could still be alive in my body?

Hello,

Don't worry, worms even won't survive after single dose of Albendazole tablet. Throat congestion may be due to pharyngitis or allergic congestion or acid reflux. Don't worry, use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
