What Causes The Fever To Spike High After Tracheostomy?

Hi, my son who has a tracheostomy has been spiking a fever off and on for Two days now, I have tried paracetamol and ibrophen and It brought it down but not completely, however someone Suggested I use half an asprin, which I did it brought it down but it has just shot up Again! I only now looked it up and I am So worried that I may have caused more Problems for him! Please help?!

Well come to HCM
It is not mentioned here that for what tracheostomy done, if he is having fever then the infection is very likely and this need to be ruled out, in most of the cases of tracheostomy lower respiratory infection is very common cause, hope this helps.
