What Causes The Formation Of A Pocket Of Fluid On The Head?
My 2 1/2 yr old has a raised pocket of fluid (the size of about a half dollar) on the side of his head. I would say it is about 1/4'' at it's deepest part. My wife and I were on vacation in Italy and we left him with our friends. He says it doesn't hurt when I touch it. We reside overseas.

Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. He may have some benign cystic lesion. No need to worry. Just be relaxed. Its not a serious lesion. Go for excision of that lump. Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.
