What Causes The Menstrual Cycle Fortnightly While On Implanon?

Hi. I have the implanon birth control. Everything has went smoothly except for the past 2 and a half months. I ve had it since July with no complications. But in the past few months I ve had my period every other week and sometimes I bleed for more than a week. Is this normal or is my body rejecting this birth control?

Irregularities in menses is common on birth control pills. But it is more common at the beginning of the intake of medication, it will reduce as the time pass by. But it is better if you get examined by OBG specialist to rule out other causes
