What Causes The Mild Dew Smell In The Nose Triggering The Headache?

For the past 3 weeks I have experienced a mildew type smell in my nose which triggers a headache. I do not have a stuffy nose, but when the headache starts the pain is around my eyes and the top of my head. I am on blood pressure medication but nothing else. Can you help?
