What Causes The Obstruction In The Food Pipe?

Problem in getting the food pass chest and needs a sip of water to push down. needs to clear throat onece start to speak...heart burn problem follows later. what is the investigation prefered ? any ultrasound study ? can just start taking any antaacid / cough syrup ?

hello, thanks for your query , difficulty in swallowing for solids not for liquids could be due to achalsia cardia, esophageal spasm or growths. it can be ruled out by barium studies or endoscopy. go ahead for these tests. all the best. take care.
