What Causes The Outbreak Of Hives After Taking Levaquin Tablets?

Took 1 levaquin tab prescribed for pneunomia and broke into hives...discontinued immediatealy. I am also allergic to penicillin, amoxycillin, and sulfas. My question: how likely is it that the hives would progress to a more severe reaction? I m feeling a little panicky.
