I am a 48 yr old female. I am 5 4 weigh 135. I have recently been diagnosed with ADD and am presently taking 70 mg of Vyvanse and 10mg of adderall daily. I tend to do a lot of yard work in the summer. This summer I have sunburned on three different occasions and I have peeled twice the first time and once the second time. This is very unusual. In a normal summer, even if I sunburn it will be only slightly and will be brown within a day or so and I never peel from sunburn.
As per your case history of sunburn, my treatment advice is - 1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with SPF more than 30 days. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for 7-10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
