What Causes The Presence Of Albumin In Urine During Pregnancy?
I am 33 weeks pregnant recent test reports shown that I have albumin in my urine and plenty of pus cells, I am ftm and 23 years old before pregnant I am 70kgs and now 85kgs (i usually weight about 75). And I have kidney stones from 2 years they come and go,at my 8 weeks scan I have 7mm,4mm ,3mm kidney stones ,I am worried about kidney failure plz help me suggest me what to do now or after delivery .I drink plenty of water (reason for kidney stones are phosphorus)
The presence of albumin and pus cells in urine suggestive of urinary tract infection. For that you can be prescribed antibiotic that is safe for you.
The stone treatment depend on site, size and duration. Usually stone with less than 8 mm size excreted by its own. The reason for urinary tract infection might be stone. I suggest you get checked your blood pressure as well.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
