What Causes The Recollection Of Previously Dreamt Dreams?

Just last night I started having short 5 second flash backs of recent and old dreams and I felt as if they meant something. I kept trying to think of what or why this is happening. Today I m still having more and more short flash backs. I meditate, and I ve become a lot more spiritual. Is there a possibility that is the reason... I feel I m being more conscious of the unconscious if that makes sense..
