What Causes The Right Side Of The Abdomen Slightly Harder Than Left?

I find my right abdomen to be slightly harder than my left and with a noticeable hollow sound if i were to tap on it. My back on the right side is also slightly bigger than the left and it feels tighter and less comfortable when compared to the left abdomen and side. Have I just become too aware of myself in this area or could there be anything causing this?
