What Causes The Right Side Of The Vaginal Lip To Be Stuck?

II have had a formal hernia operated on in the last week and today I have noticed that my right side of my vagina lip I stuck together. It does not seperate like the left side does or like it used to. Is this connected to the hernia or a cause to something else?
