What Causes The Skin Of Vagina Peeling Off Like White Flakes?

i am 23yrs old. The skin of my vagina is peeling off like white flakes. Its not itchy, but it hurts like its sore. I just had my period and this is the first time im having it. Could it be that im allergic to the soap that im using or the fragmented pad which i used.
