What Causes The Stinging Feeling On The Stretch Marks?

can stretch marks (mainly from weightlifting past couple of years) have a sting to them? ive noticed an uncomfortable sting in the upper inner thighs right where the fairly new stretch marks are located. How do i stop this stinging. I am a Samuel as well!

Hi.
As per your case history of stinging on stretch marks, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Once stinging is controlled, you can apply tretinoin 0.05 % ointment once at night on stretch marks.
4. Other treatment options are oral vitamin E, retinoids, laser treatment done by a dermatologist.
