What Causes The Swelling In The Glands And Dryness In The Nose?

My throat glands are swollen, my nose is dry (oddly enough) but I am swallowing a considerable amount of mucus, the rear left-back side of my throat (above tongue) is sore and I have a queezy stomach from swallowing the bile, plus Fatigue. I ve got a current batch of Flucloxacillin 250mg, a weeks worth and still current would this help speed along the infection?

Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum
Your symptoms are suggestive of upper respiratory tract infection. So, a course of antibiotics, anti-histaminics and anti-inflammtory drugs along with salt water gargling and plenty of fluids will give you relief.
If not please visit your doctor for physical examination and further management.
All the best.
