General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. The irregular vaginal bleeding pattern is common in menopause, But it's better to exclude other causes of such condition like- FUH, Ovarian/thyroid problem/pcod/ fibroid uterus. Certain investigations like hormonal assessment, USG pelvis would help in excluding these. It's ideal to get a complete health check at menopause & yearly follow up thereafter. In addition, I would advise for a through gynecological examination & investigations & get a pin point cause of the condition. Followed by necessery treatment/ satisfaction of not being involved inn some illness. Thanks.
