What Causes The Throat To Be Sore And Swollen?

I wake up in the morning,and my throat is a little soreand swollen. I have very little pain when I swallow. But then as the day goes on it gradually gets better and better. When I woke up this morning it was the same as yesterday morning, swollen and a little sore and as today went on, it got better again. What s going on?

thankin for asking question.
pain while swallowing with sore throat and swelling indicates probably inflammation of posterior pharyngeal wall. so my advise is to consult a ENT doctor and dr will guide you after examination. without examination of mouth it is difficult to say anything about your problem.
