What Causes The Tongue Sensitive Towards Acidic Foods?
my mouth is sensitive to all acidity foods, most tooth paste, all soda, sauce, I can not eat most salad dressings, anything spicy is out. I play the trumpet, and had to stop playing, my tong is enlarged. This was diagnosed as a fungus, and I was on a fungal med. for 6 months. no results.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Apthous Stomatitis and can be secondary to fungal infection in mouth.. I would suggest you to gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine to ease pain and burning while eating.. Take Multivitamin supplements.. Take Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and pain.. Gargle with cold water and suck ice pops.. Take a soft diet and drink plenty of water.. Maintain a good Oral hygiene..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
