What Causes The Twisted Nerve Near Ear And Jaw While Chewing The Food?

i am 45 yr old, diabetic for last 5 years .Since last 4-5 days when i start chewing my food I feel as if my nerve near left jaw end is twisted i have to stop for sometime and it gets relieved...seems like a nerve twinching near left ear and jaw...What to do?

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the reason for your problem could be a disc displacement in the jaw joint od retrodiscitis that could be causing twisted nerve kind of experience... consult a oral physician and get your TMJ examined....you might need a MRI of the joint if required after examination..i hope my answer will help you take care..
