Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 60 year old white male. I have noticed an increase in my need for a bowel movement. I do suffer from an enlarged prostate but currently do not take meds for this condition. The increase in bowel movement , I believe, is more related to my frequent need to urinate, followed by the need for the bowel movement. My work as a letter carrier for the USPS requires that I be outside and usually some distance, i.e. miles, from the nearest restroom. As the weather has begun turning colder in my area the frequency to urinate has increased.
