Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 11week old has slightly thick saliva and is breastfeeding exclusively. She also spit up quite a bit this morning after her morning feed. Please advise if we need to take her to see our doctor or if this is common for her age. She seems happy still and does not show any signs of pain or cold...she is currently asleep. Thank you
Hello Welcome to Health Care Magic. Don't worry much. Stay calm. exclusive breast feeding is necessary for child which will boost her immunity so keep it up. after every feed, burping is necessary. if child has not burped well, she will spit up. make your child's head rest on your shoulder and support her on your body upright. tap slowly on her back and in few minutes she will burp. till the time she is active and happy, need not to worry. Hope this information helps you. Best wishes.
