What Causes Thickening Of Cervix, Numerous Cysts In Pelvic And Vaginal Ultrasound?
I had a pelvic ultrasound and vaginal ultrasound & just got the results.
I was told I have thickening of the cervis and numerous small cysts. I am a 62 year old woman and started bleeding after ten years. I've stopped bleeding but am starting to have cramping. I will be seeing a Gyno as soon as I can make an appt but was unsure of what to expect?

Cervical thickening could be due to infections, or various other causes. I would recommend a pap smear and also the cysts noted were seen in the ovaries? If so, this is nothing serious, and can be dealt with.
